    As a Retention Specialist main responsibility will be attempting to retain despondent customers who wish to cancel their service. Distributel is seeking a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills to occupy the role of Retention Specialist. Professional, authentic and transparent are prominent qualities that will win our customers over and provide them with an extraordinary experience that will make them want to continue enjoying our services.

    You'll need to be able to:

     

    • Attempt to retain customers who have expressed an interest in cancelling their service
    • Address any customer issues by listening, analyzing and finding a mutually beneficial resolution
    • Process existing clients' requests, providing product support by telephone or by email
    • Provide feedback on any meaningful issues that can help in upgrading customers experience
    • Process credits/refunds follow escalations and priorities in accordance with existing procedures
    • Serve a senior specialist within the call center, demonstrating strong work ethic, great judgement skills and a good resource for others
    • Contribute to effective cost and risk control through productivity and adherence to corporate processes and controls
    • May be required to perform other tasks assigned by their manager.

    What computer skills and Software knowledge are needed?

    • MS office
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Various software and web-based tools 

    Your Education and Training:

    • Education: High School Diploma or any combination of studies and experience.
    • Experience:
      • 2 years of experience in a call center and/or in a customer service department.
      • 2 years of experience in sales and/ or in retention

     

    We're looking for the following skills and aptitudes:

     

    • Fluently bilingual, both written and spoken (French-English)
    • Must have good written and oral communication skills
    • Personality focused on results and quality
    • High knowledge on customer experience and loyalty
    • Ability to maintain composure under pressure or in stressful situations
